Description : Deciduous tree. Leaves palmately compound; leaflets elliptic-oblong or oblong, abruptly acuminate, stellate-hairy below. Flowers many in a contracted terminal thyrse. Calyx campanulate, shallowly 5-lobed, rusty stellate pubescent. Corolla yellow, tubular-infundibuliform, 4–7 cm long. Stamens hairy at insertion.


Distribution : Native to Mexico to northern Venezuela.


Vernacular : Lueang india (เหลืองอินเดีย).
