Description : Climbing shrub with aerial rootlets, less vigorous than C. radicans. Leaflets 3–6 pairs, serrate, glabrous, subsessile or shortly petiolulate. Calyx yellowish-green; deeply lobed; lobes acuminate. Corolla tube slightly longer than calyx, light orange; lobes 3.5–4.5 cm wide, strongly imbricate, pinkish-orange inside. Stamens almost reaching corolla mouth.


Distribution : Native to C & E China.


Vernacular : Rung arun (รุ่งอรุณ).


CommonName : Chinese Trumpet Creeper.
