Caesalpinia bonduc (L.) Roxb. - Fabaceae
Climber, stem and rachis with small thorns; stipules pinnate, 3-5 leaflets; leaves bipinnate, pinnae 3-9 pairs; leaflets 8-12 pairs, unequal at base; racemose, flowers yellow, bracts lately caducous; standard constricted at the middle; pods elliptic, 5-8 x 4 cm, with long bristles; seeds 2, greyish. Distributed in tropical regions, in Thailand more common in the peninsular, beach forest. Seeds poisonous.
