Description: Shrub to small tree to ca 5 m tall; puberulent on young twigs, petiles, leaves on both surfaces, inflorescences and sepals; old twigs glabrouscences, leticellate. Leaves simple, opposite, elliptic to oblong, slightly obovate, 2.5–13 cm long, lower ones usually smaller; apex acuminate; base cunete; blade thin; secoundary nerve 5–9 on each side; petioles 2–5 mm. Inflorescences cymose, terminal, 3–7 cm long; few to many flowers; pedicels 1–1.6 cm long. Sepals 5, ovate, 1.6–2 mm long, ciliate; collectors small, narrow. Corolla lobes overlapping to the left in bud; white to pale yellow, subrotate; tube ca 5–6 mm long; lobes 5, obovate, 1–1.5 cm long, apex acute or obtuse, with puberulent-pappilose on both surfaces. Corona, 1 whorle, alternate with petals, base adnate to the mouth, tip simple, small, ca 1 mm long. Stamens 5, inserted on corolla mouth; filaments ca 2 mm long; anthers slender, ca 6 mm long, pubescent on both sides. Ovary ca 1.7 mm long, glabroyus; carpels 2, separated, united into a common style; style ca 8.5 mm long include pistil head. Fruits unknown.

Distribution: Cambodia, lower northern, eastern and peninsular Thailand, recorded from Nakhonsawan, Chanthaburi and Phatthalung, scattered in dry and evergreen and evergreen forests at low altitudes, also found in plant market.
