Description: Saprophytic herb, 5–15 cm tall; leaves subopposite, 3–6 pairs, scalelike, thin, 2–4 mm long; apex acute to acuminate. Inflorescences cymose, 1-flowered; pedicels 0.6–1.5 cm long. Flowers 4-merous; calyx ca 4–6 mm long, lobes near to base, triangulat; corolla rotate, lobes united at base, lanceolate, 1–1.4 cm long, apex obtuse, spreading. Stamens inserted on corolla mouth between lobes; filaments linear, 3–4 mm long; anthers sagittate, 4–6 mm long, curved, dehiscing by apical pores. Ovary 2 locular; style elongate, 5–8 mm long; stima capitates. Capsules subglobose, 2-valved, seeds many.

 

Distribution: India (Sikkim), S China and N Thailand, recorded from Doi Phukha, Nan, shaded areas in montane forest, 1,500–1,600 m.
