Description: Shrub or epiphytic shrub 1–7 m tall. Leaves lanceolate, glabrous on both surfaces, 7–18 x 2–4 cm; apex acuminate; base rounded; margin entire; mid rib evident on both sides; petiole very short. Inflorescences axillary, umbel-like racemes with 3–9 flowers, all parts reddish; peduncle 2–10 mm long. Receptacle turbinate, 5–6 mm in diam; pedicels 2–2.5 cm long. Calyx cup-shaped; lobes linear-lanceolate, ca 1 cm long. Corolla tube funnel-shaped, 4–5 cm; lobes triangular, blended, 7–8 mm long, 5–6 mm wide at base. Stamens 10; thecae linear, ca 1 cm long; tubules 4–5 cm long with minute two spurs on the back; filaments minute. Style filiform, slightly longer than stamens; stigma minute discoid. Fruit a burry, ca 10 x 8 mm, greenish.

 

Distribution: It has a restricted distribution with a few records from Yunnan. In Thailand, it has been recorded from Doi Tung (Chiang Rai) and Doi Phukha (Nan), confined to explored limestone cliff, but also can be seen on tree in evergreen forest, 1,000–2,000 m.
