Apocynaceae

Description: Shrub 1–2 m tall. Leaves in whorls of 3–4, narrowly elliptic to oblanceolate; apex acuminate, base cuneate; secondary nerves many, close together, glands in the axils. Inflorescence glabrous with few flowers. Sepals ovate, glabrous, not ciliate. Corolla lobes overlapping to the left in bud; glabrous outside, pubescent in mouth and around stamens inside. Stamens inserted around middle of corolla tube. Disk 2-lobed, between the carpels. Ovary of 2 carpels, glabrous. Fruit a pair of follicles, glabrous; many seeded. Seeds surface glabrous and pitted; oblong, ends rounded.

Distribution: Endemic to Thailand, it is restricted to small limestone islands in Phangnga, Phuket, and on cliffs of limestone hill in Surat Thani and Krabi.
