Description: Shrub 2–5 m tall with white latex. Leaves oblong, coriaceous; apex long acuminate to subcaudate with retuse apex, base narrowly cuneate; margin entire, revolute; main secondary nerves 15–20 pairs, with many intermediate nerves, join, forming an intramarginal vien, raised on bothe surfaces; petiole 0.3–0.5 cm long, stout; 5–11 x 1–4 cm. Inflorescences terminal or axillary, branched, shortly pubescent; peduncles 1–8 cm long; flowers clustered; densely fine pubescent, almost sessile. Sepals 5, lanceolate, c. 0.5 cm long. Corolla white; tube 1.3–1.5 cm long; lobes lanceolate 0.7–0.8 cm long, pubescent in mouth. Stamens inserted at 1–1.3 cm from corolla base; filaments short, narrowly c. 6 mm long; anthers narrowly ovate, c. 1.3 mm long. Disk 2-lobes, c. 1 mm long. Ovary 2 carpels united into a common style, pubescent on top, c. 0.8 mm long; style filiform, c. 1 cm long. Fruits solitary drupe without appendage, narrowly ovoid, c.1.5 cm long (immature), light dull green. |
