Description : Similar to T. cylindrothrix, different in : base of pinna auricled at least at acroscopic side; pinnae broader; under side of veins and laminar surface densely hairy with long, patent, pale hairs, not glandular; indusia densely long-hairy.
Thailand : NORTH-EASTERN: Phetchabun (Phu Miang); SOUTH-EASTERN: Prachin Buri (Khao Yai).
Distribution : Himalaya (type) to N Burma.
Ecology : On mountain slopes in evergreen forests at 1,200–1,300 m alt.
