Ecology : This is common throughout Thailand usually in shade.


Vernacular : Wan kip ma (ว่านกีบม้า), wan kip raet (ว่านกีบแรด)(Central); kip ma lom (กีบม้าลม), kip raet (กีบแรด)(Northern); du-ku (ดูกู)(Malay-Peninsular).


CommonName : Rhizome used in local medicine.
