Description : Climber; young twigs glandular. Stipules triangular, ca 3 by 1.5 mm, persistent. Leaves: petioles 3–6 cm long, similar to young twigs; rachis 1–2 mm long, grooved. Leaflets: petiolules ca 3 mm long, densely hairy and glandular; blade rhomboid, ovate to broadly ovate, 5–6 by 3.5–4 cm; terminal leaflet larger than lateral ones, apex acute, base cuneate, oblique in lateral leaflets, margin entire, upper surface sparsely hairy and glandular, lower surface moderately hairy and glandular; lateral veins 3–5 pairs; tertiary scalariform; stipels minute, ca 1 mm long. Pseudoracemes axillary and terminal, 10–30 cm long, 10–15-flowered, with 1–2 flowers per node, glabrescent; bract ovate, 5–6 by 1.5–2 mm, apex acuminate, base rounded, margin hairy and glandular, both surfaces with bulbous-based hairs; pedicels 5–15 mm long, glabrous. Calyx: tube 5–6 mm long; lobes 5, triangular, margin hairy, outside hairy and glandular with long bulbous-based hairs, inside glabrous; upper lobes connate, shallowly separate at apex; lateral lobes ca 2 by 2 mm; lower lobes 5–6 by ca 3 mm. Corolla standard orbicular, 2–2.2 by 2.7–2.9 mm, apex rounded, acute to emarginate, base auriculate,basal callosities present, ca 2 mm long, margin entire, outside with reddish hairs, inside glabrous; wings obovate to oblong, 19–20 by 12–13 mm, one-sided auriculate, auricle ca 2 mm long, apex rounded, both sides glabrous; keel twisted in upper part, 20–22 by 12–13 mm, both sides glabrous. Stamens: staminal tube 26–28 mm long, glabrous; filaments 5–7 mm long; anthers ca 1 by 0.5 mm. Disc tubular, ca 2 mm long. Ovary densely hairy and glandular, stipitate; style 15–17 mm long; stigma globose. Pods laterally compressed, 5–9 by 0.7–1.5 cm, densely hairy and glandular. Seeds 6–10, orbicular, ca 4 by 3 mm.

Distribution : India (type), Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar.
Ecology : Roadsides, scrub jungle and open disturbed areas in deciduous forest on granite Bedrock; ca 500 m alt. Flowering: September–October; fruiting: November–December.
Vernacular : Khrang tom (ครั่งต่อม).
