Description : Plant epiphytic, rigid; rhizome short, creeping. Stems elongate, up to 70 cm long, pendulous; internodes distinct, 2–2.5 cm long, 1.2–1.5 cm in diameter. Foliage leaves many, distichous; sheaths densely hairy; laminas narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, 7–12 by 2–3 cm, covered by reddish to golden-brown hairs on both surfaces. Inflorescences lateral, 5–10 cm long, several-flowered, densely covered by golden-brown hairs; floral bracts ovate-triangular, acute, as long as the ovaries or a little longer, green. Flowers yellowish green to pale green, opening widely. Sepals bearing brown hairs on the dorsal surface; dorsal sepal oblong, obtuse, 6–8 by 3–4 mm; lateral sepals obliquely triangular, acute, 6–8 by 6.5–8 mm; mentum obtuse to subglobose, 6–7 mm long. Petals obliquely spathulate, obtuse, 8–10 by 2–3 mm. Labellum 3-lobed, spathulate in overall outline when flattened, 10–12 by 6.5–8 mm, central part with 3 lines of hairy warts; side lobes rounded, crenulate; mid-lobe rounded, emarginate to bilobed, recurved, crenulate. Column 4–5 mm long, whitish green; column foot 6–7 mm long; anther broadly ovate in upper view, ca 2 by 1.5 mm, yellow; pollinia clavate, slightly flattened. Ovary (including pedicel) 3–4 mm long, greenish. Capsule not seen.
Thailand : PENINSULAR: Satun (Tarutao), Pattani (Khao Khiao), Narathiwat (Su-ngai Padi).
Distribution : Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Java (type), Lesser Sunda Islands.
Ecology : Epiphytic on tree trunks and branches in lower montane forests, 600‒900 m alt. Flowering: May–August.
