Description : Pseudobulbs globose-discoid, 5–6 by 4–6 mm, covered by sheaths with reticulate veins. Leaves 2–3 (usually present during flowering), oblanceolate-oblong, acute to rounded, apiculate, 1.2–2 by 0.3–0.4 cm. Inflorescence 3–4 cm long, 2- to 6-flowered; peduncle slender, 1.5–2 cm long, glabrous; rachis slightly zigzag, slender, glabrous; floral bracts lanceolate, acute, 3–4 by ca 2 mm. Flowers pale green, glabrous. Dorsal sepal free, lanceolate, acuminate, 4–5.2 by ca 1 mm (c. 1.4 mm wide when expanded), recurved. Lateral sepals obliquely triangular, acuminate, 4.8–5 by 2–3 mm; mentum 1.3–1.5 mm long. Petals lanceolate, slightly falcate, acuminate, 3.5–4.8 by 1–1.1 mm. Labellum elliptic-oblong, ca 3 by 1 mm, incurved, margins upright, crenulate towards the apex; disc with 2 basal calli, central part with 3 veins running to near the apex. Column stout, ca 1 mm long; foot 2–2.5 mm. Ovary (including pedicel) 1.6–2 mm long, glabrous. Capsule oblong-cylindrical, ca 4 by 2 mm.

Distribution : NE India, Nepal (type), Bhutan, Myanmar, Andaman Islands, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China (Yunnan).


Ecology : Growing as an epiphyte in hill evergreen forests, 1,000–1,800 m alt. Flowering: June–July.
