Description : Pseudobulbs ovoid, ca 7 by 2.5 cm wide, 3- to 4-noded, 3-leaved. Leaves elliptic-lanceolate, 17.8–28 by 2.3–3.5 cm, acute. Inflorescences 20–25 cm long, white-lanate, basal two-thirds of peduncle enclosed by leafy sheaths, 10- to 12-flowered; floral bracts narrowly ovate to broadly lanceolate, 30–43 by 5.2–10.5 mm, lanate, acute. Flowers widely spaced. Sepals yellow-green, 5- to 9-veined, acute, densely white lanate outside; dorsal sepal lanceolate, 12–13 by 2.9–4.2 mm; lateral sepals spreading widely, obliquely triangular-ovate, 14–15.9 by 5.3–5.9 mm; mentum 3.3–5.4 mm long. Petals yellow-green, lanceolate, 8.6–12.2 by 2–2.4 mm, 3- or 5-veined, acute. Labellum maroon, more or less distinctly clawed, obscurely 3-lobed, 11.4–12.5 by 5.7–7 mm, bearing a low, cushion-like callus that broadens to virtually the full width of the mid-lobe and then abruptly tapers to a point at the apex; side lobes 4.1–5.9 mm long, rounded; mid-lobe subquadrate to reniform, ca 4 by 4.4–6 mm, truncate to retuse, margins flat. Column ca 3.6 by 3 mm; column foot straight, ca 4.1 mm long. Ovary and pedicel 1.6–2.6 cm long, densely white lanate.
Thailand : SOUTH-EASTERN: Trat (Ko Chang, Klong Mayom – type: Maxwell 73-322, holotype -BK, isotype -C).
Distribution : Endemic.
Ecology : Epiphytic and lithophytic in moist evergreen forests, 150 m alt. Flowering: August.
