Description : Climbers; branches terete or subangular, densely pubescent. Stipules broadly triangular, shortly connate at base ca 1 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, membranous, sparsely hairy outside. Leaves narrowly obovate to obovate, 2.5–5.5 by 0.8–1.7 cm, apex cuspidate to acuminate, rarely obtuse, base cuneate, rarely unequal-sided, margin entire, coriaceous, both surfaces with hispid hairs, drying brown, midrib flattened or sunken, sparsely hairy above, prominent, moderately pubescent beneath, lateral veins 5–7 pairs, sparsely hairy beneath, loop forming near apex, tertiary veins reticulate, indistinct above, distinct below; petiole subterete, 1–4 cm long, slightly grooved above, densely hispid. Inflorescences terminal, umbel-like, with 2–4 flowering heads. Flowers not seen. Infructescences pseudo-umbellate, transversely oblong, orange, ca 4 by 7 mm, with 2 drupelets, sparsely hairy.


Thailand : PENINSULAR: Trang (Huai Yot, Chedi Phu Khao Phra Yot).


Distribution : Malaysia (Pahang – type).


Ecology : Shaded in dry limestone mountain, 180 m alt. Fruiting: April.


Vernacular : Yo yan bai sak (ยอย่านใบสาก).
