Description : Scandent shrub, or woody climber to 20 m long; young shoots and inflorescences densely ferrugineous-pubescent. Stipules linear, 10–15 by 3–4 mm, caducous. Leaves 12–20 cm long; petioles 1.5–3 cm long; rachis 5–15 cm long, puberulous to pubescent. Leaflets 11–19, oblong, 3–7.5 by 1.5–3 cm, apex rounded, base broadly cuneate to rounded, pubescent to puberulous on both surfaces, rarely upper surface glabrous; lateral veins 8–9 pairs, thin or sometimes not prominent; petiolules 2–4 mm long. Inflorescences in leaf axils, paniculate, 3–10 cm long; bracts oblong, ca 2 by 1 mm, obtuse, persistent; bracteoles linear-oblong, ca 1.5 by 0.2 mm, acute, persistent; pedicels ca 2 mm long. Calyx ca 5 mm long, densely pubescent. Corolla creamy white; standard broadly elliptic, ca 4 by 3 mm, emarginate, claw ca 2.5 mm long; wings ca 4 by 2 mm, claw ca 3 mm long; keel ca 4 by 2.5 mm, claw ca 3 mm long. Stamens 9–10, in one bundle. Ovary glabrous; ovules 2–4; stipe hairy. Pods oblong to linear-oblong, 5–6.5 by 1.8–2 cm, membranous, glabrous, 1–2-seeded. Seeds reniform, 7–8 by 17–20 mm, brown.
