Description : [Sect. Longifoliae Pfitzer & Kraenzl.]. Pseudobulbs 2.5–5 cm apart, ellipsoid to fusiform, 5–12.5 by 1–1.5 cm. Leaves 2, leathery; petiole 1.5–2.5 cm; lamina elliptic, 6.5–12 cm by 2–4 cm, (sub)acute; nerves 7–9. Inflorescence hysteranthous; peduncle erect, terete, 10–17 cm; rachis erect, slightly zig-zag, 5–17.5 cm, its base with 1–4 sterile scale leaves, internodes 0.7–1.4 cm. Floral bracts caducous. Flowers 4–17, open in succession, 3–4 cm in diameter, glabrous; all parts white except the keels yellow-brown. Dorsal sepal parallel to the column, oblong-lanceolate, acute, 25–30 by 6–7 mm. Lateral sepals oblong, acute, 25–30 by 6–7 mm. Petals linear, obtuse, 25–30 by 3–4 mm. Labellum 3-lobed, 25–30 by 10 mm; side lobes descending to the back, in front with rounded top, sinus ca 3 mm; mid-lobe suborbicular, ca 10 by 10 mm, margins undulate, irregular; top shallowly retuse, apex acute; ornaments of 2 short keels, from top of disk to base of or halfway along mid-lobe, margin slightly irregular. Column 17–21 mm, winged; apex rounded.

Distribution : Peninsular Malaysia (type).
Ecology : Scrub forests; 1,490‒1,500 m alt. Flowering: May–July.
