Notes: Plants of a Calanthe, said to come from Kanchanaburi Province, which are occasionally on sale at Chatuchak Market in Bangkok have been interpreted as belonging to a yet undescribed species. The species is apparently similar to C. rosea but differs in being a much smaller plant and by having fewer and smaller flowers with a slightly different labellum shape. No material was available during the preparation of this flora account as permanent collections have not been made.
