Synonyms & Citations :

Description : This name is given to a group of hybrids of unknown origin. They are widely cultivated in the tropics. All floral parts are larger and staminodes broader than in Canna indica. Flower colour varies from red to pink and yellow and in some cultivars spotted, streaked or variegated.

Thailand : Widely cultivated in gardens and parks. Rarely found as a garden escape.

Vernacular : Phut tharaksa (พุทธรักษา)(Central).
