Description : Leaves: petiole 1–2 cm long; blade papery, elliptic to obovate, 5.5–22.5 x 2–8.5(–13) cm, apex acuminate, base cuneate; older leaves sparsely pubescent on abaxial veins. Inflorescence lax; 10–17 cm long; peduncle 1.5–10 cm long; 8–38-flowered. Sepals leafy; elliptic, (0.9–)1.8–1.9 x 0.2–0.6 cm, apex acuminate; tomentose. Corolla white and pale yellow or green; tube 3–4.6 cm long; lobes 1.7–3 cm long, apex acuminate; tomentose outside and on lobes inside, inside tube glabrous. Stamens inserted at 1–1.3 cm from corolla base; filaments 1.5–2.7 cm long, glabrous; anthers 10–13 x 1.9–3 mm. Disk glabrous or very sparsely pubescent. Ovary densely pubescent, 0.5–1.5 mm long; style + pistil head 3.2–3.7 cm long, very sparsely pubescent. Fruit a solitary follicle; oblong/ellipsoid, apex rounded, base cordate; 10–26 cm long, 3–7 cm wide; seeds numerous. Seeds ellipsoid; flattened; 15–20 x 3.5–4 mm; coma 2–5 cm long.
Thailand : Cultivated.
Distribution : Native to Indonesia (type from Java) and Malaysia.
