Description : A shrub, often profusely branched. Leaves oblong-elliptic, 3–10 by 2–5 cm. Flower-buds broadly ellipsoid or globose, strongly fragrant. Tepals 6, ivory-coloured, only slightly open before falling away.


Thailand : Cultivated in gardens.


Distribution : Native of SE China.


Vernacular : Champi khaek (จำปีแขก)(Central); champa khaek (จำปาแขก)(Southeastern).
