Notes: The only Thai specimen cited by Craib as representing this species is Smith 620 from Khao Ram, Songkhla (as Kao Ram, Nakawn Sritamarat), which is not available for this study. Two recent collections from the same area, the one (Hennipman 3897) with excellent ♂ flowers, the other (van Beusekom & Phengkhlai 862) with fruits, however, belong to Kadsura heteroclita. The above description is drawn on the basis of the Malesian material.
