Description : Subshrub or herb up to 80 cm tall; branchlets pilose with yellowish trichomes, glabrescent. Stipules linear, ca 8 mm long, striate, apex acuminate, persistent. Leaves 3-foliolate; petioles 1.5–3 cm long, densely pubescenct; rachis 9–14 mm long, densely pubescent. Leaflets: petiolules, 2–2.5 mm long; terminal leaflet 8.5–11 by 1–2 cm; lateral leaflets 7–9 by 0.9–1.7 cm; blade linear to narrowly oblong; apex acute and apiculate, base cuneate to broadly cuneate, upper surface green glabrous, lower surface pale green, tomentose; lateral veins 12–19 pairs; stipels ca 3 mm long, apex acuminate. Inflorescence axillary, subsessile, solitary, 1–2-flowered; peduncles 6–8 mm; pedicels 1–2 mm long; bracts lanceolate, 2–3 mm long. Flowers white or creamy, 2.5–3 cm long; bracteoles linear, striate, 7 mm long, apex acuminate. Calyx: tube 8–9 mm long; lobes deltoid, apex long acuminate, longer than tube, 10–12 mm long. Corolla whitish to pale yellow; standard ovate, 1.2 cm wide, inside light yellow, strigose; wing linear, 8 mm long, claw decurrent; keel, 8 mm long, falcate, claw 10 mm long. Stamens diadelphous; filaments ca 18 mm long; anther ovate. Ovary pilose; style ciliate. Pods not ribbed, 3.8–5 by ca 0.7 cm, 5–6 mm thick, beak 5–10 mm long, stipitate, green turning brown with age, dehiscent. Seeds ca 6, 4 by 3 mm, 2–3 mm thick, black.

Distribution : Laos.

Ecology : Open rocky platform in dry dipterocarp forest; 150–240 m alt.
