Description : Plant lithophytic or epiphytic; rhizome creeping, 3–5 mm in diameter, stout, scaly. Pseudobulbs globose to ovoid, 1.5–2 by 1.2–1.5 cm, base subtended by 2–3 ovate-oblong, coarse unequal sheaths. Foliage leaves 1 per pseudobulb, arising from pseudobulb apex, oblong to linear-oblong, 7–16 by 0.9–1.2 cm, apex slightly emarginate, apiculate, base attenuate, lamina coriaceous; petiole 1–2.5 cm long. Inflorescence 1-flowered; peduncle erect, slender, 2.5–5 cm long, densely white-tomentose; floral bracts ovate, 4–5 mm long, apiculate. Flower non-resupinate; pedicel and ovary densely white-pubescent. Sepals densely white-pubescent on outer surfaces, light yellow, with reddish purple lines at base on inner surfaces; dorsal sepal elliptic-oblong to ovate-oblong, 10–12 by 5–6 mm, obtuse; lateral sepals oblique and broader at base, broadly ovate, 15–17 by 6–7 mm, acute to obtuse. Petals elliptic-oblong, 11–12 by 5–6 mm, obtuse, light yellow, with reddish purple lines at base on inner surfaces. Labellum 3-lobed, recurved, about as long as petals; mid-lobe elliptic-oblong, obtuse, yellow, edges thickened; side lobes ovate, rounded at apex, white, with reddish purple lines; disc white, lower half with 2 broad undulate longitudinal keels, with a slender intermediate keel. Column clavate, white, 6–7 mm long; column foot longer than column proper.

Ecology : Tropical evergreen forests, 800 m alt. Flowering: December–February.
